Sun of a Beach

A great place to stay!
The unit was incredibly clean and well equipped. The decorations are tasteful and make you feel like you’re at the beach without being overdone. The beds are comfortable and the welcome kit was a nice touch. As a renter I do think it would’ve been a plus for the unit to indicate that they have a Nespresso in addition to a traditional coffee pot (no Keurig, which is the type of pods we brought). It’s unusual to have a Nespresso and we would’ve brought our own pods which are not easily purchased at local places. Everything else we needed was available and in good shape - pots and pans were not overly worn and there was even a small basket style air fryer. I especially liked that there was a cupboard that was left completely open, which I was able to put food in. I always find it very frustrating when you come to a place and you have to put everything on the counter because the cabinets are stuffed full. The ceiling fan kept they air moving nicely and we were pleasantly surprised to find an additional fan in the master closet. The washer and dryer are a good size as well. There were extra blankets and pillows provided in the closet and plenty of hangers.We had no complaints about the unit. It is on the third floor, so had we had the grandparents with us that might’ve been an issue but we did just fine! The facility itself was clean and noise was never an issue. We very much enjoyed our walks on the dock across the street every evening. There is also a great little balcony with a table and chairs to enjoy that morning coffee! The communication was very easy and they gave step-by-step instructions for checking in and check out. Opt for the linen package, it’s well worth it! Wi-Fi was also never an issue as far as maintaining connection.

Outer Banks Vacay
The home was beautiful with no complaints about the amenities. The only thing my family did not like about the condo was the heat in the 2nd story. There was no air conditioning in that area at all and made it too hot to get a good nights sleep! It needs a separate dedicated air conditioning unit for upstairs!
