Sound Sea Haven

Great new property--meets multi-generational needs!
We had a lovely experience at Sounds Sea Haven. New construction, well outfitted with beach chairs, cart, etc along with a nice kitchen. Second "tiny" home is an added bonus for multi-family or multi-generational stay. Sleeps 8 seems too low of a rating for this property as the beds and sleeping areas are endless! Easy, relatively flat walk to the beach, and loved having the EV level-2 charger.

Great Duck house for the whole family!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your property 106 Ocean Bay Blvd, Duck, NC.
The accommodaFons were wonderful. The locaFon was easy to find and it was preKy close to
the beach.
Both homes looked and smelled clean and fresh. It felt newly renovated.
We liked having a washer/dryer in both properFes, the separate casita, all the beach necessiFes
(chairs, umbrellas, some toys, a sand wagon...)
All the outdoor showers were wonderful too!
Some SuggesFons;
Trash day should be posted by the barrels...we would have taken them to the curb – (they were
full when we arrived.)
We felt the linens NOT being included was a big negaFve. We were charged an add’l fee of over
$300 for sheets and towels. For the price, they should have been included.
In addiFon, the outdoor furniture could use a refresh. All the red Adirondak chairs were VERY
briKle, chipped and flimsy. We didn’t dare sit in many of them.
The kitchens (in both houses) could use several hand towels, dish soap, hand soap, and dish
rags/sponges. The casita had none of these items. There was no welcome pkg. in the casita.

Sound Sea Haven is a Heavenly Retreat
We rented Sound Sea Haven (SSH) for a week to celebrate our daughter's Sweet 16 Birthday, inviting family and friends to join us. Everyone loved the property, feeling right-at-home and comfortable immediately! The attention-to-detail in the finishes and lovely decor demonstrate the love the owners have for this special property. We particularly liked the separate, yet attached, cottage that provided extra space and privacy; this layout allowed for quiet times to relax alone as well as fun gatherings over meals and games. Everyone loved the central location for easy walks to either the ocean or the sound...Beautiful sunrises and sunsets each day.
Sound Sea Haven could be called Sound Sea Heaven!
We hope to go back soon.

Great Family Vacation!
We just got back from a great family vacation in OBX. The property is beautifully decorated and is exactly as described. We stayed in both houses, which gave additional room and privacy. The kitchen is well appointed and I found everything in the kitchen well thought out. They also have a gas grill outdoor that was in good shape with plenty of gas, We were walking distance (about 7-9 houses down the road) from the beach and beach access was easy peasey. Highly recommend the seafood pots from the Boil Company! We loved the boardwalk and shops in Duck and the beaches were in good shape but it was red flag while we were there. Plenty of fun things and good food to make this trip special. Loved the house and everything was in good working condition.
