Best secret in OBX
Cannot express how amazing our week stay was!!! My parents are older now and the remodeled homey feel with handicap accessibility in the showers and bath gave us all a little extra security and piece of mind!!!! Staying in this historic bungalow was the best beach vacation away!! You can see kitty hawk right behind the house so being able to stay where the first flight took place and see the hill in the background of the bungalow was amazing. Only 2 blocks from the beach kept trecking back and forth reasonable. Accommodations were amazing, clean, and a well stocked kitchen made cooking a breeze. 10 out of 10 highly recommend. Stayed cool in the house and the hot tub after a day at the beach is just refreshing. Very very happy family of 4 here. Stay here. Sooooooo worth it !

Wonderful trip!
This was our first time traveling to OBX and the location and property were amazing! We really enjoyed how close it was to the beach and the comfort of the property. From the relaxing hot tub to the oversized sectional we were very cozy at this rental! Our dogs also loved getting to come along on our trip, the neighborhood was perfect for walking them and they enjoyed the beach in the mornings and evenings!

Very Convenient to Beach, Overall Nice Cottage
Higher Vibe is in an ideal location, a very walkable 2 short blocks to the beach with direct beach access. The home was comfortable and clean with a well-stocked kitchen in terms of pots, pans, dishware, cutlery, etc. (One minor note: a pair of scissors would be a good addition). There was also a hot tub right outside the living room, although we didn't use it. Although the layout is a bit funky, it still works just fine. A/C works really fine, too, if you're hot-blooded! Also a perk: the 2 bathrooms (one with shower; one with tub) are newly renovated, which eliminated any "ick" factor that sometimes happens with older properties, even when they're clean. The only down points we could possibly mention are truly minor: better (updated) instructors for the TV would be helpful (it was opening weekend for college football and the setup didn't work well with our YouTubeTV subscription (NetFlix was great -- that is, if you're coming to the beach and needing to watch TV); and the very necessary dehumidifer (we owned a beach home in Texas and absolutely get it!) in the LR is super loud and cycles on/off constantly, so you find yourself yelling at each other over it, and/or constantly adjusting the TV volume up/down/up/down).The neighborhood was quiet -- even on a holiday weekend -- and the ability to bring our mini doodle made for a relaxing and joyful seaside weekend.

Comfortable, convenient beach house.
My husband and I had a lovely stay at higher vibe. The house was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The close proximity to the beach was fantastic. The neighborhood was quiet, which we appreciated. We really enjoyed the hot tub during our stay too. Would definitely recommend this sweet little Beach House!
