Another great stay!
This is our 3rd time staying in this beautiful townhome. So many good restaurants and attractions nearby, and Coast Realty and the owners were both great to work with.

Loved every minute of our Stay at Escape OBX
We loved everything about our stay. The location was so close to the beach. The layout of the townhouse was ideal for our family of 4. It had everything we needed including beach chairs, toys, etc. The beds were comfortable and the new flooring is excellent. We selected this place because it allowed us to bring our pet and didn't require a full week reservation. Thank you for the refreshing time at Kitty Hawk.

With a few fixes, an amazing find - prepare yourself for the fees
It was not obvious that the hot tub and tennis/basketball court would not be accessible in winter. The kitchen needs to have the junky things removed like a warped griddle and odd plastic cups to be replace with nicer things to go with the overall upscale look of the place. The sliding door in the main bedroom did not work to go out onto the deck. The two bedrooms have king sized beds and the pull out couch is not comfortable to sleep on. They want you out early at 10am AND no dishes in the dishwasher - I say you can have one but not both. I'm used to being able to check out with the dishwasher on. There were a ton of positives though. Overall the updates to the kitchen and bathrooms were very nice and we could cook and enjoy hanging out. It feels clean and odor-free. The garage has a place for laundry and indoor games if you are weathered in. The beach access is right out the door - the location is fabulous. It is pet friendly for walking your pet around. It is easy to explore the entire coastline from this location. Some restaurants are walkable and groceries/Target are nearby. I liked the check-in/out system. I was frustrated by all the hidden fees that added up to as much as the cost of the rental and made the vacation double what I thought it would be... reservation fee, other reservation fee, pet fee of $150 per pet! cleaning fee, linen fee. Prepare yourself and then you won't be disappointed.

Second time here and will be back again!
We just got back from our second stay here for the second summer in a row. Another great week in this beautiful and well kept townhouse in a quiet and convenient community. Even had a maintenance issue this year with the washing machine but maintenance came out within an hour to troubleshoot the issue, and the washer ended being fully replaced within 48 hours altogether. Great service and communication throughout. We will be back again!

The perfect place for a vaca with a small group!
I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. This trip was for my friend for graduating college so we wanted something small for 4 girls and convenient and close to everything. PLUS the beach access was right across the street so we were having to haul our chairs and bags too far. The condo itself is the perfect size and it was very clean. We loved that there was a garage for parking and a balcony to see the ocean. 10/10 will definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay at OBX.
The condo was wonderful, well furnished and comfortable beds. Very spacious and welcoming. The views from the deck are beautiful! The distance from the beach is literally just across the beach road.

Beach Week - May 2024
Outstanding property - large, clean, well equipped (though it could use a coffee maker in addition to the Keurig...). Ocean views from the deck are wonderful. Steps to the beach. Definitely recommend.

Thanks to Coast Realty - communications and assistance throughout the rental process were much appreciated. Will use them again for our next vacation in the Outer Banks.

Spring Break Trip

Spring break 2024
We loved staying at the Kitty Hawk rental. The place was clean, so welcoming and relaxing and everything we needed. Both my boys like the selection of games and how comfy the beds were. We are coming back for sure. One thing I wanted to mention is the lock on front door was very hard to use. We were able to get in but we used garage door for the rest of the stay. Nothing that will stop me from coming again and staying here as we are already planning another trip. Thank you for your hospitality! I absolutely recommend staying at the condo!!!!

Great unit
The view is amazing. The beds comfortable. It's fairly well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc. But 150 for linens was the price and I thought it was ridiculous, so I brought my own. I had some issues with the rental company, but even after some not so great reviews of their handling of some things, they were apologetic and still helpful when I thought I left something behind. Being able to cop to needing to do better gets huge points from me, so I will give them another shot. They clearly want to do well and make the stay great. The location is awesome. I would come back.

Beach time 2023!
The location of this unit was perfect. It was very cute. However, I had to refrain from moving furniture around in the living area. The couch should have been near the stair rail for optimal seating. I also didn’t like that you immediately had to climb stairs upon entering the unit. Garage w/shower was great. We had a nice time.

Beautiful rental
We loved renting yet another unit from Sea Dunes and unit A-5 did not disappoint! This is our first rental with Coast Realty, and Dustin was great in assisting me. I left things in the unit and his help getting them to me were great! We had poor weather the whole week but we loved the townhome!

Cozy Anniversary
The townhouse was amazing and just like the pictures. We were in a great location in the middle of everything. I loved sitting on the balcony with my coffee watching the sunrise. It was super comfy and had a ton of games and puzzles for when we just wanted to stay in.

Review
The place was nicely located to shopping and beaches and we love the community and pool. This is our favorite beach for people and dog watching. We wish that there would have been room darkening curtains in the secondary bedroom so that our daughters had slept better, a pizza cutter and enough living room seating for our whole family. Not being able to sit and watch a movie together was a bummer.
