A Pirate's Paradise
Meticulously maintained, you will find yourself in a true beach oasis. Views abound from the many windows that provide an abundance of natural light. Once inside, the open floor plan and cathedral ceilings will make you feel you are in a much larger place. The large living room, dining area, and Ocean Room provide plenty of space to spread out and take in the fabulous views. The property features granite counters, vanity and wet bar tops, recently renovated bathrooms with beautifully tiled walk-in showers, a fully stocked kitchen for those who like to cook, and is decorated with plenty of local art to give you the real beach feeling. The brand-new HVAC system and multiple ceiling fans will ensure your comfort while inside. The property also includes Hi-speed Internet, three TVs (two of them Smart TVs), DVD players, a stereo system, and plenty of games, DVDs, puzzles, and books for those days or nights when you want to relax inside or on the decks. Boogie boards, kites, frisbees, and other beach toys can be found in the beach box on the deck to help boost your fun in the surf and sand.
Located in Scrimshaw II near Milepost 7 and just two blocks off Croatan Highway, “A Pirate's Paradise” is easy to reach and includes two reserved parking spaces that are just a few feet from the building. A recently installed cargo lift will assist you with getting your luggage and other belongings to the top floor, ensuring a smooth and easy entry and exit to your beach vacation. Outdoor showers will help you clean off when returning from the beach, either from a day of sunbathing, beach walks to Avalon Pier, or shell hunting.
Need provisions? A full-service grocery store is less than a half-mile away. Want to dine out? Some of the OBX's most iconic restaurants (Goombay's, The Jolly Roger, and Awful Arthurs) are all within a mile, with Goombay's directly across the street. Many other restaurants are a short distance away as are thrift shops, beach stores, a movie theater, or the Wright Brothers Memorial National Park.

Best View in Kill Devil Hills

The pirate's Best
The rental was as always very clean and very presentable. But, the cargo carrier remote would not work. I reported it the night of our arrival and no one came to fix it. Immaculate Condo in the Best Location
We couldn’t have asked for a better place! Beautiful inside and breathtaking views on the deck. Walking right onto the beach from the condo was absolutely amazing, and the overall location was close to everything we wanted to see and do. We even loved Goombays restaurant across the street! Fabulous Condo
This condo was well appointed and updated with a wonderful display of artwork from local artists adding to the charm and ambience. The location was perfect for our day trips and the fabulous view of the ocean from several large windows and the large open deck was breathtaking. The cargo lift made loading and unloading very easy. The property management team was professional and responsive.

Long Time Patron
We keep coming back for more! More than 30 years renting this unit thru several owners & agencies. It has even aged with us with the addition of the luggage lift & walk in showers! Even during Covid, the location across from Goombays was great for takeout or the evenings you don’t have a DD. Plus Food Lion & Publix are around the block. Wrights Bros Memorial is just as near. Beautiful Beach Escape!
The condo is very beach-y and clean. It's well stocked with all amenities for cooking in. Top floor has a perfect view of all surroundings. The deck has sunshine in the morning through mid afternoon. Three tv's can be watched at any times without interfering with each other. The elevator lift for suitcases is slow moving, but a perfect addition for bringing this to the third floor. Showers are great! Outdoor shower spot for cleaning off the sand is convenient. The couches are a bit stiff for long term seating.
